Why this business was started

I saw this idea from another company that was doing the same thing. My order experience from them was so bad and their website was a mess. I thought of recreating the idea and selling it myself so I purchased a few kits, painted them and created my own product images and videos etc. The website is really clean and simple and we have had great feedback from it.

The reason of selling this business

I would like to pursue other avenues by creating my own branded underwear company. We need capital to invest in inventory etc. As said above, we will still be operating our ETSY shop.

What's involved in running this business

Processing orders, keeping up with marketing, responding to customer orders. I spend about 1-2 hours a day running it. Over the busy season 5-6 hours a day to manage emails, orders etc.

    How to grow this business

    I would focus a lot on Marketing, someone needs to have some knowledge of marketing this product be it Amazon, influencers etc. There is ALOT of potential to build it on Amazon which would be included in the sale.

    An app built for the store where users can download and interact would also be a great way to capture audiences and get repeat sales.

    To be honest, we have not spent a great deal developing our store since we had so much success on ETSY alone, we did not have time to . The sale volume you see over November/December was all Passive with no ads! We are assuming it was bleed over sales from ETSY or word of mouth.

    Social Media is also bare! We have only 400-500 followers on Facebook, hardly post etc. This is just to show that you can grow that avenue and really boost sales. We also have done 0 Email advertising.

    Skills to have

    Marketing, excel and attention to customer care. Someone with great customer service skills is key to driving the success of the business . It is really important for someone to be customer orientated, we follow the philosophy of Amazon Customer care, if customers are not happy, they are refunded or sent replacement sets , we never argue over refunds etc.
