Why this business was started

I have always dreamed of being an entrepreneur. I had created 2-3 other small businesses before which had brought me a little money and I reinvested a part to launch this brand which was my biggest business and which I have to sell a little reluctantly.

The reason of selling this business

I have a full time job so I manage the brand after my job and thinking I will have children soon, I have to sell the brand to have free time. In addition, since Apple's IOS14 update, it's more complicated to retarget our ads so if the buyer has solid knowledge of Facebook Ads, I think it can help the brand bounce back.

What's involved in running this business

The management is quite simple because several parts are delegated. Some parts are not yet delegated but can be (placing supplier orders, order management, content creation, etc.).

Customers service : Entirely managed by a freelancer who responds to tickets in less than 24 hours.

Order management: Currently orders are sent from Switzerland and processed by a part-time person (about 2 hours / day).

Marketing: We are working with an agency in Ukraine but you can take over the management yourself or continue with this agency if you wish.

It will take a little time to get started but I will be available to help you.

Other details about profit: A lot of costs will be saved by the buyer if he delegates. For example, we have $4,000/month salary for a full time employee in Switzerland who provides us with content (story, e-mail, various tasks). We also have $500 for office rental, postage which may be reduced (we are currently shipping from Switzerland so it impacts profits). The majority of our fees come from Facebook ad fees. If the buyer is good at Facebook ads or other channels, the fees can be greatly reduced. Revenue outside Shopify : We have 2-3 retail stores in Maldives, Asia, etc. but the vast majority of our sales are done through Shopify. The physical market has not yet been very developed but can be a great source of income for the brand (we have already had an order for $ 40,000 for an online store in Taiwan for example)

    How to grow this business

    The costume jewelry industry is really big with very famous brands (Pandora, Swarovski, etc.) so I think for the next 5 years the focus should be on launching new jewelry to increase the rate of repeat customers. Having a logistics center would also make it possible to send orders more quickly and easily than at present.

    Skills to have

    We have several freelancers (customers support, Shopify, etc.) so I don't think there is any particular knowledge to manage the brand. Having a knowledge of jewelry design can be useful but in all cases simple sketches are enough for the manufacture with whom we work to create samples and jewelry (our manufacturer works with the famous brand Michael Kors)
