This business was actually purchased on the exchange over a year ago from another seller and we found some success with a few products. However, we are now moving down a different path, and it is too much to manage this store along with the other two businesses with which we are heavily currently involved. We have decided to sell the business because we are working with a business partner on a new venture that requires more of our time and attention, so unfortunately we have had to put [PRIVATE INFO] on the back burner. Ultimately, we decided to sell DG and move forward with our current business plan which is pulling all of our focus and more of our time and attention away.

    How to grow this business

    In order to grow the store in the next five years, I would focus primarily on the products that currently exist in the store. Kitchen products seem to be one of the most profitable niches for us due to the customer list we have been able to collect and curate over the last few years. There are several kitchen products listed in our store currently that we have yet to do testing on that could yield massive results. Also, we don't currently use social media sites like Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter or Pinterest, so these are new sales channels and areas you could explore, if you'd like, to generate even more sales.

    Skills to have

    I feel that the new owner, in order to take advantage of our customer list, should have a fair knowledge of how Facebook ads operate. We would be willing to offer some guidance with this to get you started. We would also be willing to walk you through a major sourcing contact that can help you source any products that you have done research on and decided to bring into the store to sell. This contact can generally find any product that you maybe have seen on Oberlo or Aliexpress. This way you are only dealing with one supplier, which alleviates a lot of headache when it comes to shipment and delivery times.
