It’s a niche store with 95% of sales coming from a single skew in a wildly popular niche that is growing rapidly. A few months ago we began testing an in cart upsell that has a 40% success rate.
We have a great relationship with an amazing Chinese buyer and manufacturer. The reject rate of the product is less than 1.5%. We have bulk ordered over $100k from our buyer and we’ve always received exactly what we ordered. He’s awesome and trustworthy. In fact we negotiated a 2% surplus for each order to cover any defects. With large bulk orders the overall cost will drop even more.
We have already received the files to white label the product and the manufacturer is ready to white label with an agreed upon bulk order.
We have a great relationship with our US warehouse. All orders are delivered in less than five business days and when orders are shipped real time they arrive in three days.
The store has a great track record with our payment processers and when chargebacks happen we have a great record of winning them. PayPal disputes? Almost nonexistent and when they do occur, we typically win.
Customer service? Top notch. We respond to all emails within hours.
Resources needed to run the store? About an hour but typically less.
Facebooks ads? The pixel is loaded with nearly $600k in conversion data. Retargeting? We have no experience here so we never figured it out. Any Facebook ninja will go wild over the untapped data.
Google analytics? Yup.
Email marketing? Barely scratched the surface. Goldmine for anyone that truly understands email marketing including cart abandonment.
Literally all of the profit came from cold audiences. Someone that truly understands the conversion process of ecommerce on Facebook will crush this store by fully leveraging all audiences (cold, warm and hot) on Facebook coupled with fully built out email campaigns. Instagram was never really a focus nor was international selling. There truly is an untapped market for this store especially in the hands of someone that knows ecommerce.
