Why this business was started

I've decided to start the business when I fell in love with the idea of owning an eCommerce store dedicated to some niche apparel business line (with high revenue / high margins' items) Being a "globe-trotter" myself , this business was really attractive since I've started because it can be run from anywhere in the world as a standalone business and allow me the financial autonomy reducing the dependency on the full time job. With the use of the preferred relation with just one supplier, the order's processing and communication goes smooth and easy in the entire value chain, meaning worldwide shipping within 7-10 days - which, along with the quality of our products and friendly relation with our customers, has granted our success over the years.
Being a totally remote business, allowed me to develop this passion as a part-time and my risk was minimal: We do not maintain stock, the products are delivered directly from the supplier to customers. This is a perfect model as there is no chance of being left with stock. The returning customer rate is increasing by month and shows how happy our customers are.

The reason of selling this business

I fell in love with the idea of owning an ecommerce store and I have run this store successfully for many years although now I have been confronted with the reality that the day has only 24 hours and decided to focus more on the other online business that I own and lower the load off my shoulder. I have had the other online business for more than 1 year so I've decided to keep that one and sell this one and I would really love to keep this store but unfortunately I have to make such hard decision. Therefore I was set to make some choices due to lack of time and, as my new business needs a capital injection and my full dedication to be able to grow, I will have to find the right buyer who can continue this path of success which I'm happy to witness in the near future

    Although, this growth is welcomed, we’ve already invested in our organic growth by developing an entire product line with a particular focus on fast growing niche markets (driven by regional and client's demand) leveraged by fashion vintage trends Good marketing research and extensive advertising strategies will ensure that our products continue to sell well in the long run. • Sales growth can be achieved through new sales channels - Amazon, eBay, Etsy - by engaging more Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok etc) and by using key influencers • Currently Google AdWords is used with low conversion costs but more sales could be generated if the budget was expanded. There's also opportunities to increase product range with new drop ship suppliers, supplying directly and upselling. Adding international delivery to some Latin American Countries would also grow sales and enlarge our footprint. We also got our own branded packages developed which looks awesome and a small gift is included with every shipment. The 5 top targeted countries are USA Canada Mexico UK Italy which means there is still many countries to explore like Australia, New-Zealand, Other European countries, south America.

    Currently the business is taking 1.5 hours per day and this is mostly processing orders, customer service emails, running advertisements and posting on social media channels. How to grow this business on the short-term: Increasing advertising budgets Exploring different marketing channels (Google, Pinterest, TikTok); Adding more items and different collections (Suits, Trench coats, Gloves, Shoes) Adding Affiliate marketing/influencer marketing Growing email & SMS Marketing Further optimizing the website. This business is easy to run as most of the daily tasks are automized.     At the same time, the rewards of self-employment can be great and as an owner, you will likely be doing the kind of work or producing the kind of work product that is meaningful to you. Basic understanding of sales and marketing, profit and loss etc. Really not that hard at all to run as a "one-person-show", just know how to use Oberlo, AliExpress, Shopify, and optionally some experience controlling the payments from the clients (PayPal and Stripe). Even with my young kids at home I've managed to handle it!!! I do have a part-time FaceBook and Google advertising specialist that works to launch some ad-hoc campaigns. At the moment this freelancer is taking care of social media postings although I'm the one who likes to do it, to keep in touch with the customers and keep the pulse of the business. If wished by the new owner this freelancer would like to maintain. The current owner can also arrange someone who can take care of the marketing side of the business. This way the new owner doesn’t need to be actively involved but just operates the business by distance management.
