Why this business was started

I have a few years in sales under my belt and it wasn't until I heard about dropshipping that peaked my interest. I decided to give it a try, and knowing nothing about online marketing, I was able to utilize my skills I already had. In doing so, my store has now generated me over $60K in this month, December 2018, alone. I'm currently scaling it to get to $100K per month.

The reason of selling this business

I want to move into freelancing to up my game in copywriting. The store is currently taking a bit more time than I could afford right now if I were to focus on learning copywriting. You don't need to be running $30K/month in ad spend - just start out where you're comfortable. What's involved in running this business

I have 1 VA who is taking care of all customer support and about 50% of orders. I order stock every two weeks from our well-established Alibaba supplier who I can also get you connected with. For items that we do not carry in stock, those are ordered with our dropshipping center based in China, whose information I can also provide. What is required of you once you take on this store is manage marketing through Facebook ads, which is our primary way of advertising. I currently have almost 6,000 emails collected and was planning on to starting email marketing.

    How to grow this business

    I would keep scaling as I currently do - I was able to scale from $13k in November to already at $51k this month, December. If I wasn't selling the store, I would've pushed it to $100k next month easily. My goal with the store was to generate at least $10k daily. Over the next five years, I would've created a brand to gain loyal customers and expand our product offerings. My plan was to lock in US based suppliers so that I wouldn't have to order stock every 2 weeks.

    Skills to have

    You should be fairly confident when using Facebook ads. This is not a beginner store and should be treated with all seriousness. Must be aware of ad fatigue, auction competition and audience overlap and must know how to tackle those issues. Our VA is fairly experienced where she's at now and requires minimal supervision. You should have an active Skype account to communicate with her. As with any business, you are to stay on good terms with your employees and our VA is no exception - treat her as family and she will take on your company as if it was her own. I will provide you access to our Facebook Ad Account and I assume you would know how to take over it. Our pixel is very seasoned at this point - we have about 5,000,000 hits recorded.
