We have started several e-commerce businesses in the past, and found an amazing niche to carve out a profitable business. In addition, we relished the challenge and excitement of setting up the website, and starting a new business, along with operating it and growing it for the last year.
The reason of selling this business
What started as a fun project has morphed into an enterprise that we just do not have the time to fully devote to. We both work full time jobs outside of the store, and as such are finding it extremely difficult to find the time to do much more than maintain the business. We both know that with the right owners who have the time, resources, and knowledge to focus on growth that there is an opportunity to 10x+ sales.
What's involved in running this business
The day to day operations of the business are simply checking in with our Virtual Assistant to see if there are any order changes or cancellations, and then fulfilling orders with our dedicated supplier. We also check our ad performance every few days to adjust budgets, scaling up high performers and cutting bad low performers.

Personal support after saleWe will provide training and onboarding on the operations side for the new owners for one month after the sale. We will provide recorded video tutorials on the order fulfillment, and other operational tasks related to running the day to day aspects of the business, in addition to "holding hands" via skype/screenshare if they need more hands on help in the order fulfillment. We will also provide video resources for the owners for other tasks such as product sourcing and advertising performance review.

How to grow this business
A focus on SEO to drive more organic traffic to the website would be a huge opportunity for growth. Another area we have not explored yet is the realm of influencer marketing, which is especially lucrative in the home decor niche.
Skills to have
Prior experience running or operating e-commerece stores would be advantageous for the buyer. Experience with customer service would also be beneficial as you may need to step in to help the virtual assitant with specific customer issues. Prior experience Experience in the SEO field while not necessary would help take this store to the next level.
