Why this business was started

CoffeeTime is a Danish online store selling accessories, care products and coffee beans to (B2B & B2C) customers who already own a JURA coffee machine. CoffeeTime is an authorized JURA dealer.

The business is well-known in Denmark. In early 2019, we switched to Shopify from a local eCommerce system, and a few weeks ago, we launched CoffeeTime in Sweden (soft launch).

The Store has mainly 5 stars customer reviews, included on Trustpilot.

The primary traffic source is direct/organic, and we only run ads on Google Shopping using the Shopify app (autopilot).

The reason of selling this business

After 10+ years in the coffee business, I have decided to try new things. I'm not google or social-media-marketing savvy, and I acknowledge I don't have the skills to grow the business to the next level (It has been challenging and taken me some time to accept).

There is undoubtedly a great potential in this business for the right person or company. I firmly believe the right company or person can take this business to the next level.

What's involved in running this business

It has always been essential to be able to run the business from an iPhone/laptop, so all business processes have been set up accordingly.

Everything runs inside Shopify with full history. It's a great benefit for a new owner. This business is 100% online and can be operated from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

Shopify is integrated with our fulfilment centre in Denmark, who handle all orders the same day and can easily handle shipments to all EU countries. This process works on autopilot, so you don't have to pack and ship the orders inhouse or even be based in Denmark.

Some examples of what's involved in running the business are ordering products from suppliers (Italy etc.), researching new product niches, create campaigns, send newsletters and running advertising campaigns. I only run ads on Google Shopping using the Shopify app (autopilot).

To handle orders to suppliers, we use the app Stocky by Shopify base on forecasting, and you will have full history from previous purchases. All products cost prices are registered on the products.

Most important is customer service. We use Help Scout with full history for all emails. Only 2-3 customer emails must be answered daily, mainly from Danish customers (can be answered in English if Danish is not an option).
