Why this business was started

I have always been interested in fashion & business and saw an opportunity in the New Zealand market where we initially began. Since our success in New Zealand we have expanded internationally and now sell all around the world. I contribute a large amount of our success to branding with this being a major focus point for us early on. I originally started this brand along side both university and a part time job, however sooner or later realised the full potential in what I was accomplishing and both quit my job and dropped out of university to put more time and energy into this brand.

The reason of selling this business

We are very sad to let this business go, as we are profiting greatly from it and also see the potential to expand even further! However, my business partner and I have since committed to designing and manufacturing an electronic industrial product in a different niche market which requires significant R&D. We have been designing this over the past few years and it is about to be released to the public, hence we don't have the time necessary to put into this business anymore.

What's involved in running this business

The business also has a logistical fulfilment centre in the Shenzhen/China that handles the stock and order fulfilment. This allows a very fast turn around from supplier to the end customer and gives you access to some of the best shipping rates in the world while you can be where-ever you like. We found shipping and handling to be very time consuming and to out-source this was the most profitable decision we have made. However, of course, if the new owner chooses to do things differently, we can accommodate this. In addition, marketing and buying stock is involved in this business as well as daily admin i.e. answering emails. This store is perfect for someone who wants to expand their clothing business, or just to profit from an amazing and stable investment that can easily double and triple itself within short time.
