Business Story

Why this business was started

We were looking to take a small store to the next level of operations to generate some part time income. We settled on starting with a drop-shipping business due to the low barriers of entry and had plans to start a brand, complete with manufacturing our own products and expanding sales channels. If done well, it could become a full time venture for us. We evaluated several businesses with different models. Ultimately, we settled on [PRIVATE INFO] due to its high cash flow, time in the market and the start to effective branding, beginning with the name.

The reason of selling this business

We have run the business for several month and in that time have given the store a new look and logo (branding), focused the products (branding), expanded the Facebook following (audience), engaged in email marketing (branding) and expanded marketing channels. Also during that time, we have had family and career changes that simply require more of our focus than anticipated. So it simply came down to prioritization. We believe in [PRIVATE INFO] (Shopify) tdoor sporting goods space. For us it is simple, our focus needs to be put into higher priority efforts.
