We were looking to take a small store to the next level of operations to generate some part time income. We settled on starting with a drop-shipping business due to the low barriers of entry and had plans to start a brand, complete with manufacturing our own products and expanding sales channels. Most important skills are marketing and the ability to search for best product sources. Be comfortable communicating on the phone and via email. Customer service is critical - you and the customer want the same outcome.
