Why this business was started

I wanted to find a niche that's future-proof, Drink ware seemed like the perfect match, the CPM is quite cheap (4-5$) and the main product seemed good. I created the shop in late july, left it on standby, tried a few things, made a few errors and decided to invest in October November and December and that's what got me about 26k GBP in revenue (not 19k dollars, it's probably not showing because I used checkout x before 2021). Shopify's valuation is higher than the asking price.

The reason of selling this business

Well my country's high tax rates (France) is the only real factor since they take money based on revenue and not profit... I do want to open other stores and explore new business ideas and investment ideas but the high tax rate is what pushed me. Thanks to the sale of this website I will be able to invest first and then change my status from E-com to something else and think about the clothing brand I have always wanted to create.

What's involved in running this business

Disclaimer: The total revenue goes above 40k dollar (27k gbp) and not 19k and I can prove it instantly.

The best seller itself has a supplier to fulfill it otherwise the rest can also be managed the same way. The stripe, FB BM and Paypal pro account are all clean and without any restriction even after 1400+ sales (I can prove it) , the feedback is really good and the product itself isn't even developed. There are many big opportunities for the product itself, a few weeks ago a Japanese seller contacted us (German and British sellers do too) and they asked about buying in bulk, if you take over this store before mid April you should be the one talking to them since the opportunity is here and they are really really interested.

Here are some key points.

-We don't get many customers complaining, the VA is from fiverr and her english is excellent, she gets paid 5 dollars an hour 1 hour a day every week and if we scale and reach 30/40 orders a day like in Q4 then it's 2 hours a week otherwise on a 10/15 orders a day only one hour per day is needed if not less since our customers never complain.

-The supplier allows us to do many things with shipping, receiving in bulk. The supplier's contact info will be given if you want to.

-Advertising ends up getting 40 to 50% profits per day once the adsets and pixel are warm enough and that's no matter how big or small your budget is.

Other details about profit: The store's revenue is 27k GBP and not 19k dollar the website is probably showing 19k because I used checkout X. Most profit was made in Q4 and I had no cash-flow to be honest, if I had more it would've been double. the average profit per month was close to 45% in only one country without even mentioning the bulk order requests and the weak SEO that could bring at least 3000 visits a month for one single product. The pixel warming, trial and error period did cost money at first but once I learned everything was going very smoothly. I'm pretty sure someone with more experience with emailing SEO and marketing can make this store even more profitable than it is right now.

    How to grow this business

    SEO is a must You can either decide to keep stock yourself or ask our supplier to ship for you on the long run, both are profitable. My supplier is willing to work even though you might start slowly. There are many other product options You should really focus on Pinterest and IG too (Organically) Any Coffee/Tea preparation product can be sold since you can warm up the pixel from the get-go with a proper lookalike audience. I sold the main product with these ROAS without any upsell and you should organize and sell one because it can dramatically increase the AOV.

    Skills to have

    -Basic eCommerce knowledge. -Basic english in order to communicate with our supplier who can hold products and fulfil them for you. -Branding -Understand the drink ware niche (Especially coffee and tea preparation) -Keep all social media channels active -Use the 3300 targeted emails. (Customers + Leads) -Accept bulk orders when you get contacted via email -Go global, We got many emails from most western countries asking us about shipping to their countries.
