We created Freya Branwyn to sell amazing timeless passion products (natural stone jewellery and accessories) to the mid to older female demographic who have an natural affinity for the allure of a bohemian lifestyle and freedom of expression, that goes along with the boho culture. Customers are based approximately 40% US, 40% UK, 20% other EU, Australia and typically have a higher disposable income than the younger female market demographic.
Social media strategy has centred on identifying our products with this lifestyle, our feed aims to appealing to the timeless stylistic identity of mature, strong and independent women and so avoiding the fads and rapid style turnarounds of the disposable fashion market. Significant investment has been allocated to the building brand identity. Initial brand consultations, followed by development of a congruent website design built over a state of the art responsive theme template (turbo by out of the sandbox) and then further enhanced with professional product and lifestyle photoshoots.
The brand also directly speaks to the 'empowered women' movement that's currently so prominent in current media and society as a whole. We feel it's been the perfect time to build an strong market presence by building a brand that supports these values that are becoming more mainstream with enormous huge appeal across social channels.
Due to unforeseen personal circumstances we now don't have time to both manage and take the business to the next level. Therefore we are looking for someone to take up the business as it stands.
The past 18 months have focused on reinvestment to accelerate growth rather than taking profit out of the business. We had originally intended to manage and scale ourselves, investing in the future by building the brand to a strong position through a strong social media presence and a quality online and service offering.
We truly believe this business has an excellent future ahead with a passionate and loyal audience (over 20% repeat customer rate) and massive opportunity to grow and take advantage of the many unexploited opportunities available (more below).
It should be relatively easy to pick up ownership of the brand, with proactive social media management, writers, photographers and models already engaged on a freelance basis and ready to transfer to the new owner.

The team in place: We have an autonomous team of freelancers in place handling operations from an order management, customer service and social media management perspective, along with additional on demand relationships with photographers and brand models, and a blog/product description writer. The blog writer and social media manager come up with content proactively.
Supplier relationships and 3rd party logistics partnership: The business has excellent well established direct supplier relationships, so we can offer top quality, tested, branded products to customers. Our suppliers ship directly to our third party logistics partner, who handle warehousing and order fulfilment.
We have a fully automated order/fulfilment integration between Shopify and our logistics partner and are able to offer an excellent same day shipping service in branded packaging, with multiple options for tracked/untracked/express options and automated returns handling.
Social media management: We post regular content to our social media channels - across Facebook (27,000 followers), Instagram (14k) and Pinterest (250k monthly unique visitors). Our followers are highly engaged and have been built entirely organically though PPC campaigns and organic sharing.
The time spent on this business has varied. A lot of time up front to establish the business, build the brand and focus on customer loyalty/retention (full time for 5 months).
