General description

I'm a woman photographer, and launched this business in 2009. At the time, there were no other companies creating camera bags for women. This is a drop-ship business. Included in the sale, beside the domain and business are the following social media accounts: Facebook: 65000, Twitter: 17800, Instagram: 10000 and an email list of 55,000. Total reach: 147,000

All products are drop-shipped directly from a family-owned factory in China that I have been working with for 5 years. They emboss our logo on all products before they ship, with no marketing included about their company. The quality is excellent, and they will replace bags for up to a year if they break. So I'm able to offer a great warranty to customers.

Profit margin is between 35-40% depending on the style of the bag. The margin is slightly higher for all-leather styles. I currently spend about 15-20 minutes a day for support inquiries. I have another business that I'm much more interested in, so this has taken a back seat on my priority list. At the moment I don't do anything with social media, ads, or email campaigns. And sales are still coming in. You can run this business from anywhere, because you don't need to worry about inventory or shipping etc.

My customers are mostly women photographers and travel enthusiasts. They are very loyal, and many have purchased multiple bags over the past 9 years that I've been in business. I'm just ready for something new, and would love to see someone else give this business the attention is deserves, because they are great products with a large and enthusiastic fan base.

Invest time into the large social media platform, interacting with the audience. Do email blasts. Update the blog with relevant posts related to travel or photography. Network with other businesses in the same industry (I can recommend several upon request) and with influencers online.
