Why this business was started
I decided to start this business to try and help a social cause. I have created shopify stores in the past, so I decided to use my skills to build a website to create apparel while donating most of the earnings of the website. While you are not obligated to donate any income of it, I would encourage you to. The store is perfect and has cornered a niche which is very popular at the moment and given the unrest, will continue to be.
I created two website, while this one is for sale, I will include the other one in the purchase of this. It has done over $10k in sales, therefore coupled with this store the consolidated revenue to date is over $46k. The other site is a sister site which uses the same printful store (targets a different country though), thus I thought it is better to couple the two together to sell as one unit.
The reason of selling this business
I decided to sell the business for a couple reasons. Firstly, I am a university student and as the summer comes to an end, I cannot spend more time working on it. During the year I will be simply too busy to do sufficient work and I think another buyer would be better suited to run it.
Secondly, while I have worked a lot on it, I think another buyer is better suited to take it to another level (in terms of sales). I have some experience with shopify, but an experienced buyer could really elevate sales. A huge potential would be creating FB ads (I haven't yet).
What's involved in running this business
There's a few key responsibilities revolved with this business. The primary thing is checking emails from customers (could be outsourced). Next, you will need to do fulfillment, but this can be automated if you have a credit card (printful can be fully automated). Moreover, you will need to work on advertising campaigns. I have a dedicated worker at Google who is an account assistant (since this site has spent so much on Google ads). Creating new products is also a responsibility, but I have a lot of products already.

How to grow this business
There are several main things you can do to improve the store. I would say that either spending time to rework the social media profiles (or hire someone) or work on SEO rankings. The current SEO is generally really good - it is in top 5 google search words for the niche!
Next, I would create FB & IG ads. I am not good with FB advertising so I have not attempted it yet, but that creates a huge opportunity for you. I focused on Google AdWords, which can still be further optimized which will help increase overall profitability.
The next main thing would be creating more products. I have a lot of products, but there are always more to be made.
Lastly, I would suggest to improve the optimization of the website - increase the load speeds and add more features to it. I don't have a lot of time so I haven't done it yet, but again huge opportunity for any buyers!
Skills to have
Prior knowledge of operating Shopify dropshipping and/or Printful stores would be an asset. Next, knowledge of social media adverting would be a useful skill to have as it is imperative that this store uses social media adverting in order to be successful.
