As a designer, I had a backlog of several clever ideas I wanted to introduce to the market. I discovered Shopify around 2015 and thought it was the perfect medium to get my products into the hands of consumers, as I attempt to grow a brand.
The reason of selling this business
Product design/development and logistics management are my focal points. PPC advertising, marketing, and scaling, not so much. After 5 years of creating products under Rever Brand, I chose to resort to a career path that allowed me to work on my passion.
What's involved in running this business
Each morning, I usually respond to any customer inquiries and sift through any orders that need to be fulfilled for the week. Orders are either fulfilled in-house or from our fulfillment partner in Hong Kong(depending on item ordered). We use the Endicia software for personal fulfillment and [REDACTED] for items being fulfilled from Hong Kong. All products are made directly from our supplier in China. We've been working with them for the past 3 years and have firmly established a strong relationship with them with their ability to deliver a quality product in a timely manner. The website is maintained on a bi-weekly basis. Depending on the month, we also enable holiday promotions. We don't run PPC advertising. Shopify sales are typically generated through email list, organic traffic, or direct referral traffic. Majority of the time is spent doing R&D for future product launches.

Other details about profit:Majority of revenue is generated via Kickstarter campaigns. We have generated more than $100,000 in revenue from 5 different product launches on the crowdfunding platform. All Shopify store metrics displayed on the provided graph are generated from organic traffic or direct referral traffic. We usually work with an advertising agency that would ask an initial deposit( $2000-$3000) plus a 30% commission for each sale generated to funnel PPC traffic to our Kickstarter campaign. We don't run any ads to our Shopify page.

Seller‘s Advice
How to grow this business
To continue the growth of this brand, I would allocate most of the time into marketing, PPC advertising, and expansion of the product line. The products listed on the shop each have a unique characteristic that separates us from the rest. Due to my inexperience of marketing and advertising, there's a large audience that I have yet to tap into.
Customers continuously crave new and innovative designs. A road map with new designs being introduced each year will surely sustain the brand.
Skills to have
We have proven through crowdfunding that there is a demand for our products. So a new owner with PPC advertising skills and marketing experience with a product will find guaranteed success for their efforts.

I'm a passionate designer who spent 4-5 years of my free time building a men's fashion accessory brand that has gained recognition from prominent publications in the industry(Gizmodo, HiConsumption, and [REDACTED] to name a few). I have found great success on Kickstarter with more than $100,000+ raised and received numerous positive reviews from my customers.
