Why this business was started

I saw the main product (electronic goods for both gender) selling extremely well in France and I started an e-commerce/dropshipping store around this product in Germany and the US. It's a great product which almost everyone is using and the price point of the well known concurrence is extreme high, so that we could sell it for a good price and have great margin being much cheaper than the concurrence. We started to test with micro influencer to generate traffic and to validate our offer. After we realized that the business model worked, we continued to work with influencer on IG and Snapchat to receive cold traffic. In the backend we have Facebook, Google, email and sms retargeting in place to convert cold traffic to sales.

The reason of selling this business

I spotted a new opportunity and I'm currently creating a new international brand with influencer marketing. We're creating our own products and this takes a lot of time and energy. The Valuation price of Shopify is around 900'000 USD and I think that's a good price point because we made almost 300'000 USD in Profit last month. But I don't have the time to search for the next 3-6 months for the perfect offer, so I decided to sell it for less than my profits last month to ensure a fast transaction.

What's involved in running this business

We have a semi-automated business, one VA who makes a list of 20 Influencers everyday and another one who's taking over negotiation. This remains for both stores (Germany and US). At the weekends we're doing special promotions and we try to work with as much influencer as we can to get traffic to our page, they are doing page post etc. with a special coupon code. We have a multi channel strategy in place so while we have a promotion on going, we are also running FB Ads, email marketing, Google Ads campaign, sms and email retargeting. We have an organic traffic of more than 4000 persons on average per day.

We made 200k USD in one day (03/24) with an margin of 60% and we reached over 400'000 USD (03/23 - 03/25) on this weekend with a margin of 63%.     How to grow this business

    I would continue to work with the biggest Influencer in the USA, Germany and Switzerland and I would try to have a better marketing in place and to have a clear brand identity. Multi channel marketing is the way to grow this brand to 8 figures per year. Growing on social media would be one of my next strategies to have more organic sales. Optimizing email marketing would also be a great opportunity to grow this business.

    I think you need to be experienced in Dropshipping/E-Commerce, to really understand how this business works and to spot great opportunities. But you have also the possibility to run this business on autopilot and to hire an agency which could do the marketing for you.
