Why this business was started
Many years ago, when I was a new parent, I found myself frustrated with the available choices of products for new parents in stores. That's the moment that I decided to design my own product. My background is in graphic design, plus I had some previous entrepreneurial experience with product design.
During the prototype process, I was shocked to discover that everyday bags sold in stores could contain harmful and toxic materials. As a result, it became my priority to make sure that the materials I used would be free of toxic materials like lead, PVC, BPA and Phthalates.
What started with a single product available in two colors has evolved into a unique, vibrant and modern collection of lunch boxes and bag organizers for kids and adults, as well as children's backpacks. Each product is an original design with a minimal, clean, modern aesthetic, and fresh color palettes.
The reason of selling this business
As a designer/creative at heart, running a business has not been my strong point and running a company completely solo has been very challenging. I'm proud of what I've accomplished with the brand since my products have received notable press from The Today Show, The Washington Post, Good Housekeeping and the Food Network to name a few.
My early goal was to grow the company, but 5 years ago, I had a life changing moment, and I took my focus off the business. I basically put the company in a state of autopilot and put my focus on raising my son and strengthening my Faith, while still keeping the company afloat.
It's been very difficult to let go of a company that I created and devoted many years of my life to, but I've held it back for too long now, and I truly believe that the brand has so much potential to grow and be successful with new owners that can take it to the next level.
What's involved in running this business
Think about how much time and money you would have to invest, starting from scratch, in order to build up a brand? Because this is an already established brand that I've already invested many years into, there's so much room to grow by introducing new styles and products! In addition to ownership of the brand, you will also get ownership of all my original product designs.
I’ve already set a solid foundation by creating a niche beautiful brand with original products. Shopify payments have been pre-paid until 11/2022.
Managing the business includes running the Shopify web store and blog, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest), and relaying orders to the warehouse and regular bookkeeping.
In the immediate, I highly recommend running advertising campaigns with Google and Facebook which I haven't done.

SuppliersI have supplier contacts for the factory, a 3rd party quality control inspector, 3rd party accredited lab for testing the materials, and an international freight shipper contact as well. Any contact I have, I will provide to the new owner.
