I stopped using the store around 3 months in, and ceased advertising on it as I no longer had time to run it as my offline business was picking up. I used advertising at the start, and then relied more on email campaigns and repeat customers towards the end. If I had used advertising throughout the months I could have made much more but I did not have the time or effort to invest in advertising due to my other offline business (which was making more money and therefore took precedence for me).

In the right hands, this store can bring in some serious revenue. If I could make $21,000+ in just 5 months only targeting the UK, how much could you make in a year with some marketing including US markets?

Fire & Ice Store was established in May 2017 and proved itself immediately, racing to 5-digits numbers in just over a month.

Gym apparel is a niche with high purchase power customers. It has proven to be a loyal audience with a high rate of returning customers looking for more items.

This is my advice for an increase of sales and profit:

Target the US markets more, I only really targeted and marketed for the UK markets as I am from the UK, but the US is the biggest buyers market.

Open an Instagram account and use influencers marketing to strengthen your brand image.

Advertise for longer than I did as it will bring in much more sales (happy to share advertising copy, text, demographics etc)

SEO: hired experts to optimise the SEO of this website and rise it in Google organic search results.

Product selection: thoroughly analyzed a large amounts of products to identify the best converting ones and most attractive to our customers.

Advertising: through patience and discipline we tested multiple advertising campaigns to create an audience that reacts and shops in our website. Highest converting campaigns have proven to bring 5x in sales more than what was invested.

E-mail marketing: built a subscribers list of over 500 people, mainly located in USA, UK and Canada.
