Over the years I have bought those partners out, and I have run the business independently since 2013. My goal was to build a business that would give me the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world. For myself, it was less about furniture, and more about my passion to grow a business that would be fun and that I could build a team around to bring along with me for the journey.

The business is very scaleable at this point. Growing the business at this stage would involve a combination of adding more branded high margin, high demand products, as well as in demand drop shipable products from vendors. Continuing to develop strategies to increase the traffic to the site via social media, affiliate marketing program and smart PPC advertising would also help increase sales. The business as is could double or triple its sales without much need for added investment in personnel. The integrated systems and processes allow for more scale and economies of scale. Lastly, subscribing to Shopify Plus to gain added expertise, functionality and customization would help with future growth.
Knowledge and passion for furniture styles and trends would be helpful, but not necessary in being able to stay ahead of the curve and grow the business. Combining these skills with manufacturing capabilities overseas or in North America would accelerate the growth. Combining the above two items with a prowess for influencing customers and followers via social media would be beneficial to grow the business and sales exponentially.
