After spending extensive time learning about the dropshipping business model and current consumer online shopping trends, I decided to open my own store. What attracted me the most about this type of business was the flexibility to manage it virtually at any location. The niche industry selected (heavy storage products) was based on market research showing a high demand for these products all year round and the availability of many US manufacturers to keep with demand. These products solve storage problems for residential and commercial customers.

The reason for selling is simply because I don’t have the time and resources, at this time, to get the business to the next level.
What's involved in running this business
The store is semi-automated. Built in the store theme are automatic notifications for you and your customers when an order is received, as well as notification for your customers to track the order after product has been shipped. You’ll need to fulfill orders through the suppliers via email. Customers can contact you via chat (live or when you’re away), email and/or phone. There are still hundreds of products from current suppliers ready to be added to the store. As with any business, you’ll have to manage the financial and legal aspect of it and handle advertising/marketing which is one of the most important parts of it. Many of these tasks can be outsourced.

How to grow this business
To reach the store's full potential, I would implement effective marketing strategies through Google Ads, Social Media, email campaign, etc. Stay current with the online marketing environment and keep pace with the competition. I would also continue offering exceptional customer service, add more suppliers and products, and as you grow, hire a VA (virtual assistant).
