Why this business was started

This business was started due to a lack of men's accessory retailers in Canada which focused on men's neck wear (ties, bow ties, pocket squares, tie clips) at low prices. There are other retailers which sell men's ties and pocket squares but the prices are unreasonable for an accessory item. Furthermore, bow ties are very rare to find with other retailers and if they carry them the selection and styles are quite limited.

The reason of selling this business

My business partner and I have full time demanding jobs/careers along with 2 small children. We do not want to leave our current careers which makes it difficult to spend time on the business and market. The first 3-4 years we did put in the time to market and help the business grow which it did but again this was still on a part time basis. It got to a point where we just couldn't continue to put in the time to further grow this business and just relying on SEO and returning customers.
