Why this business was started

The idea came up in 2009 when my business partner and I had a hard time finding dress shirts that fit us well and wouldn't break the bank. We went head first and designed several prototypes and launched our brand in 2009. Since then, we have had customers from around the world that have come to love our brand, mission and most importantly, fit of our shirts.

The reason of selling this business

After 10 years, our lives have changed: full time jobs, family (wife and kids), and think its time to pass on our company in the hands of someone looking to carry on our mission

What's involved in running this business

The day to day aspects of the business involve responding to customer emails which may be related to questions or order related. We have a 3rd party warehousing and fulfillment service that stores our inventory and also processes the orders for shipment. We work very closely with them to resolve shipment discrepancies and any customers returns and exchanges. Another area is acquisition marketing for which we regularly e-mail our customer email distribution list about new products/promotions and also marketing related activities like facebook and instagram ads. We do have a large number of followers on facebook that we regularly update (>7000 followers). The last aspect of the business is working with the shirt manufacturers overseas. We have a great working relationship with them and they have been really good to work with. All our reps speak english and understand our business very well. We have been working with them since the very beginning (10 years now).

    The best way to grow the business is to spend some time and money on social media advertisement and also build some partnerships with men's fashion influencers. We already know that we have a great product in the marketplace but do not have the time to build out ads and do the necessary outreach to grow the business given our full time jobs and families.
