I have an interest in journaling and stationery supplies in general, so I had a familiarity with the products and the high demand that exists for these products. I wanted to learn how to manage a dropshipping business, and this business was well-established.

The reason of selling this business

I no longer have time to manage the social media the way I want to in order to grow the business. The store itself is very easy to manage, but growing it will take more time and capital than I have to devote to the social media.

What's involved in running this business

Order fulfillment via Oberlo, answering customer service emails and social media messages. All of these tasks take less than an hour per day. Planning social media posts and managing new inventory would be more time consuming, but not overwhelming.

    Definitely invest more time in the social media. Pinterest brings in the most referrals, with Instagram bringing in the second most referrals. Running ads would be helpful as well, as organic traffic from search engines seems to draw in business pretty frequently.

    Having background knowledge of the Shopify and Oberlo platforms are helpful, as well as social media management, but not necessary as both are easy to learn on your own.
