Why this business was started

We acquired this business on Shopify Exchange and took it from $90,000 in sales in 4 years to $2,700,000 in just 3 months after purchasing it. While we didn't start it, we saw that the product had a lot of potential and wasn't being sold and advertised the right way so we jumped in.

The reason of selling this business

First off, this is PRICED TO SELL FAST, for a few different reasons. I run a portfolio of stores, funnels, and e-commerce projects, and I am looking to consolidate my focus to one opportunity that is starting to demand my full attention. While this asset is the strongest I have worked on in e-commerce (the most rev I have done on one store, the highest average cart I have had, and the best repeat buying behavior) I was presented with a new opportunity that I couldn't turn down.

Since the $2,829,243.62 last August, it was able to produce $257,612.70 in revenue without spending any ad dollars since then. I've done $85,991 in revenue from June 1st - August 22nd. ALL of this additional revenue came from its internal email and SMS lists, and is spread across this specific store + a few different funnels (I will provide all funnels/selling channels in the sale of the asset).

With the right amount of time, effort, and focus, this brand will realize its full potential and compete with some of the biggest Wood Watch brands out there.

So why is it priced at $50,000 when Shopify's valuation is $2,219,700.00?

It's priced to sell FAST. My opportunity cost is currently extremely high and I don't have time to go back and forth with potential buyers for months.

  • High performing Email/SMS list that produces continual revenue at an extremely high profit margin. This is the most valuable part of this asset, and with it you should be able to make a large % of the investment back. Not many assets on the exchange have lists like this, and most of them require you to HAVE to run ads to make profit.

  • Pre-negotiated pricing on all watches after $3M worth of leverage. You get direct access to my relationships with the factories, and have the ability to sell the cheapest wood watch on the internet (while still maintaining equivalent quality). Undercut the competition, and scale.

  • Pre-negotiated relationship with 3PL provider: you will plug right into my fully built out supply chain system with my 3PL partner in Pottstown, PA. They will grandfather you into my rates, and the handoff will be simple and seamless.

  • Prebuilt system/Virtual Agents: I can provide you with 1 or a team of virtual agents that have already worked on this store and know how to run the software/ops. From customer service, to supply chain, I have successfully automated a large portion of this business after years of experience.

If you have $50k to invest, I believe this is one of the most "risk-free" e-commerce opportunities out there. I study the market, and I buy stores myself. EVERYTHING is inflated, overpriced, and over valued (kind of like the housing market right now lol, it's the gold rush). What's involved in running this business

Marketing: Email marketing, sms marketing, relationships with customers, digital ads. You could do this yourself, hire someone internally, or use an agency to fulfill any of these needs. Supply chain: Communicating and ordering with our suppliers (included relationships in this sale, meaning you get grandfathered into the rates we we're given after negotiating over $3M of revenue), tracking the manufacturer to fulfillment center process, communicating with our fulfillment center, ensuring deliverability to customers. I have agents that do this for me on my team, and would be willing to keep them on this project. Current connection and negotiated rates with fulfillment center would remain intact as well. Customer service: Reamaze – create/manage email tickets (about 80% of CS volume) and phone lines also through Reamaze. I have agents staffed here as well that could remain on this project. Product development: One of the biggest upsides in this store is that I have three different suppliers that automatically come out with new products consistently. These products come with A+ creative (full blown photoshoots) so its super easy to plug and play. You will get my existing catalog of 67+ watches to start along with all sales data per SKU. Store optimization: I will set you up with the proven high converting template that I use on all of my stores.

Other details about profit: For the first part of this project, we ran a high urgency one time sale on Facebook to push $2,771,421.93 in revenue after refunds. This was at a 15% profit margin. Since then, we have done $257,612.70 @ ~50% profit margin, since all of this revenue has come from our internal email and sms lists. We already acquired the customers, so by not having to spend ad dollars, this type of revenue is extremely profitable. (Conversion rate on screenshots is not accurate since we used a third party checkout, not Shopify's)

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

    With over 35,000 customers, an active email list of 27,000 subscribers, an SMS list of 20,000, you already have a STRONG base to rely on. Time and time again these lists continue to produce significant revenue without having to spend ad dollars. I would double down on these lists: create a content strategy, run free giveaways to increase engagement, and continue to create new offers every month. After completing the above, I would focus on google shopping ads and undercut the market. The standard price for wood watches found on the internet is MUCH higher than what you can offer (because of pre-negotiated rates with our supplier after all the volume we did) and this is a big part of past success. From there it's an open world: Facebook ads, instagram, tik tok, snapchat, any would be viable options with the right strategy.
