Why this business was started
This business was started because I saw a gap in the market that was not being exploited. Most drop shipping stores today focus on gadgets that have a sort of fly by night style to them. What I created here is a long lasting fashionable brand in the home décor space. This niche is essentially evergreen with no seasonality as all of the products sold are for indoors. With this understanding I knew how important it was to act on. Creating this business was a challenge, especially with the branding, the way it turned out is amazing and I am really proud of it.
The reason of selling this business
While I have a heavy heart in selling, I feel that it is time to give this project to a different buyer. I currently have a heavy load of work with other projects and I am simply not giving this website the love it deserves. I am focusing more on a business that requires more of my time. This website is more suitable for someone looking to create income from anywhere in the world. This is not my goal at the moment and that is the reason why I am selling.

This business is a very straight forward drop shipping model that requires zero inventory. This is great as the potential buyer can run this from anywhere in the world and truly live the laptop lifestyle like I did. The future buyer’s day to day operations would only be running and scaling facebook ads. The reason why this is all the buyer has to do is that I have created a team of virtual assistants that run all parts of the business. This includes ordering, dealing with customer service, and any other tasks.

How to grow this business
Instagram influencer marketing, Pinterest, Google ads and Snapchat ads are other marketing channels which I haven’t even touched. The potential to scale 3-5x within the first year just by branching out to more marketing channels can be massive. The next phase after, I would consider manufacturing and branding Aly & Ava’s own product line.
Skills to have
Micro managing is key to this business. With the sale, you’ll be given multiple virtual assistants and simply making sure they are on task is important. Some very basic Facebook advertising would be good but I will be giving coaching with the sale as well.
