In 2015 we started the business as a hobby with an € 500 investment. We bought some goods, send them to some influencers and focused on winter business with fur jackets. After 5 years we reached a revenue of € 2M/year. These figures were reached with continual optimizing in areas like buying, marketing and influencers we collaborate with.

The reason of selling this business

The family business grew very fast and healthy but it’s time to exploit the full potential of this industry by scaling all areas like buying, marketing and staff. We as a family business are not able to make this next step as this requires more entrepreneurial know-how. With the right investment and know-how the store has potential to grow x10.

What's involved in running this business

Currently the main areas we are working on is buying from wholesalers or suppliers, running performance campaigns and influencer marketing and fulfilling the orders. Therefor we have our own photo studio and warehouse which can also be taken over.

General description

Fast fashion is an Industry with high growth rates and a huge potential also in other areas like sports- and swimwear, accessories and beauty. These areas can be expanded and help grow the business. But also just scaling of the current structure will increase revenue as we only have 50-100 new items a month, imagine the growth if you can offer daily new items. This also means higher investments into buying, marketing, Influencer campaigns and staff.

What we did the last 5 years? As already mentioned we started the business out of a hobby with a € 500 investment. In the first 6 month we reached a revenue of € 35k and in the following winter season we decided to sell parka jackets with real fur as this was and still is an usp compared to the big brands like asos, etc. as they don’t sell real fur. But it’s a market and there are a lot of customers who want to buy real fur instead of fake fur. In 2019 our revenue increase to over € 2M.

Anyway the store has the potential to increase sales out of the winter season with fast fashion like pants, tops, jeans, etc., but therefor it needs more investment into buying, marketing and staff. Even if we only sell real fur there’s also a huge potential for fake fur which can be added to the portfolio.
