I started this business because I needed a backpack for my own Boosted Board, and there were no good options available.
At the time I made my first protoype, a famous youtuber named Casey Neistat got a hold of it and began promoting it and using it as his own personal backpack. Sales took off from there and I had a viable business!

I am selling this business as I have always been more excited about company creation than company growth. Board Bag has so much room to expand and grow, and can do so with the right owner.
What's involved in running this business
Daily business activities involve:
-answering customer support emails (20 minutes) -using the fulfillment centers web portal to send out orders (5 minutes)
Macro business activies include:
-Ordering and designing new stock from the supplier. All communicaton is done over Skype. They also have an in-house designer who takes my measurements and poorly done sketches and perfects them into awesome products.
-Sending products to the fulfilment center. I have warehouse space in California and Shenzen. The manufacturer is very helpful in making sure they product gets to the warehouses properly, and at the lowest cost possible.
-I run advertising on Google Ads, reddit. Monitoring campaigns is something you can do once a week, and takes about 20 minutes at most.
Board Bag is the most popular third party brand of backpack for Boosted Board electric skateboard. Customers use our backpack when they go traveling and need a way to protect there electric skateboard.
We operate as an online store through Shopify. We offer two products, and fulfill orders through fufilment centers. About 60% of my sales are USA and 40% are international.
The store can fully be operated from any computer and most processes have now been automated.

I have built a strong brand with strong sales, but I have only done this for one major electric skateboard brand. If someone can dupcliate this for other major skateboard brands, such as Evolve, then there is excessive room for revenue growth.

How to grow this business
Since Boosted Boards is currently looking for someone to buy there company, sales are currently slow for backpacks. I would shift focus into making skateboard backpacks for the other major skateboard brands, such as Evolve. There are many other eletric skateboard brands, with lots of customers looking for carrying options for their boards.
