Why this business was started

I created this brand from an idea to provide customers with products that they want. I believe that the customer is always right and the products are designed with their feedback to shape what they end result is. I brought the brand to life to provide the first product, a heated base layer, so that I could solve a very basic need to keeping warm when skiing, motorcycling, or doing many other activities.

The reason of selling this business

The business has done well from a crowdfunding and customer feedback point of view, however I am not an advertiser and I can't seem to get the right talent on board to perform that aspect well. I have decided that I'd like to offload the brand onto a talented group that can do the marketing right and use a very unique and high margin product to more people.

What's involved in running this business

I am the owner and I control any email account, shopify accounts, mailing lists, etc. I have outsourced the fulfillment to a fulfillment group in Utah. They are connected with my shopify store so that when an order comes in, they just fulfill it and then send the bill quarterly for the VERY discounted shipping and fulfillment fees. That's it, nobody else is involved with the business.

    I would acquire more customers through ads and email marketing. The majority of the sales seen on the website are 100% organic (no ads at all), which come from repeat buyers and word of mouth.
