Why this business was started



Because the fashion market is one of the most profitable businesses (but also one of the hardest) in the dropshipping sector and because we allready had experiance in this niche. Also the low competition was a cause to start this store, because in germany we have A a lot of bureaucracy and B many sellers are afraid of to the return risk at the fashion business.

We also had massive return problems (like you see in the profit margin), but there are multiple ways to keep the refund quote at around 10%, which can be very profitable. We even know a competitor who is able to maintain a 5% refund quote.

It's all about checking the product quality and sizes.

The reason of selling this business

We are three business partners who have split up. Now we need the money for new projects. One partner will even stop e-commerce and focus on something else. We've all build this store up together and decided it would be the best to sell the store and split the profits.

What's involved in running this business

Customer Support, qualified copywriting and order fulfillment is outsourced. You have to run the ads and do the product research. If you are a foreign business man, i recommend to hire somebody bilingual, who can be the head of customer service.

The sourcing and fulfillment does a chinese sourcing company for us. They buy, check and ship the products we sell. The processing time takes in average 5 days and the delivery time is thanks to the DHL direct line shipping of our agent very fast. It takes around 5-9 Days.

    How to grow this business

    We would reduce the refund quote at first through quality checks and testing the sizes (can be arranged with the supplier).

    The next step would be to test more products (the store will come with some not yet scaled winners). Afterwards you just need to scale the ads, the fulfillment and whole support.

    We would also expand in other EU countries but it wasn't profitable because of our tax situation.
