Why this business was started
We started this dropshipping business because we knew that our niche and products (bikinis and swimwear) would attract a flood of buyers right away, especially though Instagram which is our main source of traffic. This store mainly sells bikinis but we also sell other clothing depending on the season.
The traffic at the time of running this business was in the top 5% of shopify stores that were started at the same time as ours. We got a flood of organic traffic to our store through Instagram using a virtual assistant who searches for potential customers and engages with them and directing them to our store.
You may think that swimwear is a seasonal business, but it is not! We started marketing this store in October 2018, and has proven to generate great revenue in the colder months, so just imagine what it will do in the upcoming summer months! We used the 'free plus shipping' method to generate the majority of our sales, and I can walk you through how to do this so you can replicate my strategies.

I hate to let this business go, but I have another project, and with the current covid-19 situation, I am at home with my 2 young daughters and don't have the time to put into this. What's involved in running this business
This store has been in limbo for almost 1 year due to me not being able to keep up with it with 2 small children at home. There is currently no income being generated from it, but you can easily pick up from where I left off. I tried to update the website a few months ago as well as the instagram account.
So far there has only been organic Instagram traffic driven to our website. No facebook ads (the pixel is installed though), no instagram ads, We only pay 1 virtual assistant for a few hours per day to drive targeted traffic to our website. I will walk you through everything step by step as well as a plan to scale this business model. Please note- Instagram is always changing, and I cannot guarantee the amount of money you can make through my strategy.
To keep up with the business with my current strategy, this is what is involved: -You or virtual assistant/s searches for customers and closes sales -Fulfilling orders through Oberlo -Customer service through emails/Instagram messages -Maintaining the Instagram account -We set up a backend affiliate and ambassador program using a free app in the shopify app store. We have around 2000 email subscribers that we haven't marketed to yet. We do have an abandoned cart series of emails set up. If interested, we can include the mailchimp login for those templates, but you will need to find an alternative from mailchimp as they are no longer working with shopify.
