Why this business was started

I decided to buy this business because I saw it as a great way to learn about the end to end process of e-commerce. It has been an awesome business to grow. It is also very easy to maintain and very fun too. I managed to build a long lasting relationship with our customers that has them coming back for more and recommending us to their friends and family.

The reason of selling this business

This business is very much a side gig for me. It needs someone who has the time to invest into the business. As a mother of 2 and working full time and doing additional community work, I'm simply stretched too thin. It's been a difficult decision to make, but I pride myself on knowing I've created something great!

What's involved in running this business

From a fulfillment perspective I have a fantastic 3PL that does this for me. The warehouse is based in Western Sydney, NSW. I own all of the stock, but I don't pick and pack any of it. Just because the warehouse is in NSW, doesn't mean you need to be.

The beauty of this business is that it can be run from anywhere.

On a daily basis it's all about posting and engaging with all your followers and brand representatives. This keeps it fun and active.

Having things automated is a must too. Making sure you have a good abandoned cart email is an example of this.

    How to grow this business

    If you are good or enjoy social media marketing (or know someone good at it) this is the best business for you. This business in my opinion has a lot of growth potential in the US market. My 3PL ships worldwide, but if you established a US base it would see the growth of the business boom. I mainly fulfill to Australia and NZ at the moment because it is the demographic and where its located. The business gets excellent feedback on speedy shipping!

    Skills to have

    This business would be great for someone that is a people person. Social media interaction with other parents, influencers and collaborators. Knowledge of Facebook advertising and social media marketing is a bonus. The buying side is pretty easy, you just have to have good communication skills.
