Business Story

Why this business was started

Wanted to make money. Plain and simple. If I’m honest the product niche is not my passion but I calculated that it would work, tested it and proved the concept. I did not intend to want to sell it, but I want to branch out into a different area selling courses and making a business based on something I am truly passionate about.

The reason of selling this business

I created this store with the intention of making a profit by buying products from suppliers in the UK and selling them using Facebook ads to make a profit. I wanted to prove that this was possible and this is exactly what I have done. You will notice a spike in the revenue for the month of May. This is when tested and started to turn a profit.

Please note this is not a drop-shipping business model. I have a domestic supplier and customers of mine benefit from fast and free next-day delivery.

So why do I now wish to sell?

Two reasons:

  1. My wife and I have just had a baby and we need the capital to get a bigger house.

  2. Time - I have two other e-commerce businesses and I do not have the time to run them all.

It is a really great opportunity to anyone looking to hit the ground running, learn some skills and get going with a proven profitable product/store.

What's involved in running this business

Traffic is generated mainly via Paid advertising, specifically Facebook. The website is heavily optimized for conversions and email accounts are set up for customer inquiries. The store converts at around 6-7% which is way above industry standards.

I have a supplier in the UK who simply sends me more stock whenever I need it - it's incredibly easy and we communicate via What's app and email.

I normally spend between £50-100 a day on advertising and this generates between 5 -15 orders each day. The products I sell come pre-packaged from the supplier so I simply print out some labels, stick them on to the packages and wait for the Royal Mail to collect them.

It takes a maximum of 30 minutes each day and generates £3,000 - £5000 net profit every, single, month.

You will need to take over my Facebook advertising to manage the campaigns (I can give you a full walk through tutorial). The ads I run seem to work all year round and do not need refreshing often which is great.

You will also need to manage customer emails - I normally do this on my phone with an email application. I average 5 enquiries per day and they are often just asking where there item is or on rare occasions for a refund.
