Why this business was started

I decided to start this business because I understood the market. The market is in the streetwear niche, and I was able to spot trends based on what I could see on Instagram through other retailers.

I knew how to craft advertisements that could draw buyers in. I also saw that the suppliers had large amounts of stock for the items I wanted to sell, so I knew there would be little disruptions in the supply chain when I scaled.

The reason of selling this business

I've decided to sell this business so I can refocus my time on 1-2 behemoth brands instead of splitting my (and my staffs) time among many brands.

What's involved in running this business

Supplier communication via Skype. Customer communication through tickets using Gorgias. We have many responses already built in as automations/templates Researching new products to expand the product line. Managing the advertising spend on Google Ads through shopping campaigns. Tracking the stock the supplier is holding in the US. Fulfillment is done by the supplier through an ERP system (it's dropshipped). Dealing with exchanges or replacement orders if there's an issue with the item being lost in transit (or there's a sizing problem). Responding to customer reviews. Calling VIP customers to find out how you can improve further. Email marketing campaigns (broadcasts to our responsive list).

    How to grow this business

    We're a fast-fashion retailer focused on the millennial demographic. The easiest way to grow this store is to grow the product line, re-sell the our responsive 78K+ email list on the new product launches and then promote the new products via our Instagram page (that has 25K followers) and also amplify the products via paid traffic.

    Predictable revenue channels could include: 1. Launching the new products to Google Shopping campaigns to increase revenue. 2. Running YouTube ads with user-generated content (We have a folder full of it). 3. Promoting the products via Tiktok and Snapchat ads. 4. Emailing our list more often (it's responsive!) 5. Using influencers to promote new product drops 6. Doing SEO - we haven't done any

    Skills to have

    The owner should have experience with how social media posting works, basic knowledge of Google advertising/Google shopping, knows how to speak with Chinese suppliers and can manage a customer support agent using Gorgias.

    The owner should also know how to calculate invoice totals. However, we have a system to track all expenses through Order Metrics and through a company-wide profit report that can be transferred over.
