Why this business was started

This was principally a hobby that turned into a lifestyle business for me. I started it to prove I could start a business from nothing, establishing key relationships with suppliers whilst learning about social media marketing, Google Adwords, TrustPilot and excellent customer service.

The reason of selling this business

This was always a secondary business to me, and my primary business is taking a large amount of my time. I feel with the right nourishment, this business could be even more successful, and I'm ready to hand it on to someone who has the bandwidth and capital to take it to the next level.

We will provide support on customisation and transfer of our wholesaler synchronisation app which allows the mirroring of their catalog. Additionally we are happy to provide customer complaint support, email, telephone and Facebook messenger support for a period of four weeks following sale.

    How to grow this business

    The principal inhibiting factor for me is simply product range. I have established relationships with suppliers in numerous countries and drop-shipping capabilities from perfume wholesalers in the UK, but with additional investment in products, it would allow the business to grow further. Expansion into other geographies would also represent an excellent opportunity for growth.

    Skills to have

    Customers frequently look to us for our knowledge and passion of all things fragrance. This is a business but also a hobby: I'd suggest the new business owner have the same passion, or employ knowledgeable staff, to achieve the same.
