This 8 month old store is in the growing arts and crafts niche. This is a store in a box. The business follows the online retail (drop-shipping) model. All of the growing pains of a new drop-shipping business have already been worked out for a new buyer. The store features one main product type with thousands of variants. However, the store has over 840 total products added, all with unique descriptions. One main supplier is used who fulfills 95% of orders in a very timely manner; and this supplier ships from the United States for all U.S. based orders. This store has seen revenue growth each month and will surpass 25K this month. Most stores that are listed for sale all have declining revenue and traffic and are no longer running any ads. This store is steadily increasing and is a perfect turnkey business. Why purchase a store that is for sale because the products are no longer working, and the business is declining? This store is growing, has longevity, and even more room for growth. There is brand loyalty and the store has an overall repeat customer rate of over 13% (25% in the last 30 days). I have high value, repeat customers along with a vendor that purchases wholesale from the store. This is currently a $600-$700/per day store with multiple 1K + days. The daily average has been increasing each month.

The store was up and running on December 28, 2017. Since then it has generated over 81K in revenue and is in the top 1% of all Shopify stores created during the same week. This store will easily surpass 100K in revenue during its first year – 2018. Of the 81K in sales there have only been $535 in refunds, which is extremely low (less than 1%). I have also only had only one charge back out of over 1,900 orders, which was decided in the store’s favor. I have handled all customer service from day one and have canned responses and templates all written for a new owner. The supplier that I use is also very helpful and responsive in handling any product issues. Also, no competing stores are shipping these products from the U.S. so there is a huge advantage over the stores that are using Epacket shipping. All orders are fulfilled via Oberlo/Aliexpress. Payment is accepted with Shopify payments, PayPal, Google Pay & Apple Pay.

All ads have been created (original ad copy) and optimized. The sale would include Facebook, Google, and Bing Ad accounts. The Facebook pixel for this account is highly seasoned and optimized. All Google and Bing text ads are created and running in multiple campaigns in multiple countries. The store also has a currency converter as advertising is worldwide. The store averages nearly 1,000 visitors per day and A LOT of data has been gathered. There are dozens of audiences and look-alike audiences already built in the Facebook account. This would take months and months for a new store to develop and is extremely valuable.

The store is built in 3 different themes. Therefore, a new owner would have a choice between multiple pre-built themes that have all been used and are all ready to go.
This store also has an upsell app in place along with currency conversion, live chat, an EU cookie complier, product review app built into the store theme, and Facebook product feeds. Aside from the online store, sales are also generated on the Ebay and Pinterest sales channels.

The Mail Chimp account is included with nearly 4,000 email subscribers. I have email templates set up and the abandoned cart recovery rate is 26%. The average for an ecommerce store is 7%.

The sale would also include Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest accounts. I have also just developed a sponsorship relationship with an arts and crafts YouTube channel where they will be promoting products for a 10% affiliate commission.

The overall profit margin is 15%-30% depending upon how much I re-invest into developing new ad audiences or testing new locations. The average month's net profit is 25%. I have solid audiences (with look-alikes) optimized in the U.S., UK, CA, NZ, and AU. There is also a monthly subscription service set up with the store’s main product.

This store has already carved out its share of this market and would be an excellent addition to any e-commerce portfolio or a great store for a new online entrepreneur. I will provide 30 days of support while the new owner gets acclimated and settled.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Since this store is very active, a new owner could improve the store by creating a Facebook group to compliment the FB page. The Instagram and YouTube accounts are also very, very new and not much effort has been put into building these. Outsourcing customer service and order fulfillment would free-up some time for a new owner to build social media. More time needs to be put into growing the social media following and finding influencers to partner with.

I currently do not have any employees at all and handle everything myself. This is in addition to my full-time job and other websites that I own/manage. This is not my first drop-shipping store and it has been built to become a multiple six figure store. I normally work on this business 20-30 hours per week. However, I also do not have any employees and many tasks could be outsourced.

I have also worked out an agreement with my supplier to privately label products to sell on the Amazon sales channel for an excellent rate. However, I have not had the time to set up the Amazon seller’s account, brand registry, etc. This could be a huge opportunity for a new owner.

Growing the monthly subscription service would also boost revenue.
I no longer have the time to dedicate to the store as this is the newest of all of my stores/sites. I am also in the process of moving out-of-state. The store could grow even more with an owner that could provide a full-time effort.
