I decided to start this business because swimwear was my passion. I wanted to create a swimwear store where you can find the latest styles but not pay extreme prices for them. I then changed the store to a boutique style store which has also done well.

The reason of selling this business

I decided to sell this business because I have exciting new business ventures I would like to pursue and this business just does not have my passion anymore. With everything going on in the world and me doing almost everything by myself with no help it became harder to run. Also to make this business work in the way I know it can I would need more capital which I don't currently have. You don't need alot of capital if you decide to dropship using this brand but if you want to continue holding inventory you will need more capital to run consistent facebook ads. If you hold inventory and run facebook ads, selling out always becomes a issue when the potential buyers come to your site for a specific item.

What's involved in running this business

As of right now the only things involved in runing this business is knowledge of facebook advertising and basic social media marketing to make consistent income. If you want to scale more to $10k-50k a month you need knowledge of how to scale facebook ads, email marketing, social media marketing, and just continuing to run sales,giveaways and product launches. During this time of the year it is very easy to scale to this much. If you wanted to scale to higher monthly revenue you will need to probably outsource to a team to run your advertising.

General description

This business was started as a dropshipping store. Which basically means that we worked with a supplier that shipped all of our items directly to our customers. Over the past few years we have went from a full dropshipping business, to a half dropshipping half inventory, to now a full inventory business. We found with the current world status holding inventory is the best option for customer satisfaction. We have tried another method that works great aswell. That method is every 20 orders we would get we would place a bulk order with our supplier and our supplier would ship this bulk order 3-5 day shipping to our place of business and we would then package and ship the items to our customers directly with 1-3 day shipping. This method works great because of our processing times we state on our website and doesn't cost us much money because our customers do pay for shipping. This method was the most profitable but the only con would be overall shipping time would still be about 10-12 days total. holding inventory cut that shipping time in half or more and would increase the likelyhood of a customer buying twice. But if you decide to use the other method it still works. Our relationship with this supplier is also amazing. We have worked together for over 2 years and they have treated us amazing. They have great communication, make whatver clothing style we need without upfront money, and they can also customize packaging. This business is defintely still a very profitbale business with the right person who is willing to expand and learn this business model.

Other details about profit: To increase profit we have a deal with our supplier that for every product we order from them we get a $1 back, and 8% cash back aswell for every bulk order we place with them. Also we do charge shipping which is $6.99 for US & $20 for international. Shipping cost are around $3-5 per US order and $12-26 per international order. So even the shipping is profitable. Our facebook pixel is already seasoned which means it has alot of data so your facebooks will always be profitable as long as you know how to create ads. Alongside with our email list, and weekly/monthly promotions customers do buy twice or more. Profit can range from 30-40%. Profit amount per month varies based on monthly revenue.
