Why this business was started

[PRIVATE INFO]. was started back in college when we still weren't sure what we wanted to do with our future. What we did know growing up along the beach was that sunglasses were overpriced and under-delivered. We set out to make our own brand through Kickstarter before it became the mainstream beast it is today. Through our Kickstarter campaign and no marketing budget we secured enough funding to develop our first product the 20/20 sunglasses. From there we expanded into multiple glasses styles and added watches to our product line. Currently we we're developing a line of stylish bracelets and other jewelry to compliment the existing brand and would be happy to share our findings so far.

The reason of selling this business

The primary reason it's time for us to part ways with [PRIVATE INFO]. is that I plan to leave and travel for an undefined period of time and it's not fair to our customers to just let this disappear. I want the next owner to find satisfaction in what we bring to the table and how we were always able to help.

What's involved in running this business

Currently the inventory and shipping system is all integrated with a third party vendor with inventory all over the world ready to ship at a moments notice, this is how we're able to offer free shipping and returns globally. We're not under any contract to sustain that relationship and you are welcome to do whatever you wish moving forward. Beyond that, the database of existing purchasers and original kick starter backers of thousands of names are also the property of [PRIVATE INFO]. and will be included for the new buyer. Beyond that setup your own marketing plans or use the existing marketing firm and see for yourself the power of an E-Commerce store.

Other details about profit: Over the last 5 years enclave has averaged above $6,000 in sales monthly. Different peaks and troughs have fluctuated sales such as holidays or black Friday were sales we're clearly significantly higher. Additionally sales over the last 12 months began declining as our advertising budget decreased. Profit margins increased during this period and the reason for the decrease in budget can be attributed to a side business that has since turned into a MEGA businesses and required far more attention.

    What would make Enclave MFG great over the next five years would be to make sure to listen to the incredible customer base we already have an expand on the existing product lines.

    The user engagement from the thousands of orders over the years is incredible and we're constantly receiving feedback or requests to restock on older products even as we continue to sell new ones. With an increased demand in both male and female accessories this is a great time to enter the market with a turn-key operation.
