Why this business was started
I was on maternity leave during the first Covid 19 outbreak. I wanted to offer toys and resources whilst offering ideas and support on how to use them. I also wanted to raise awareness and funds for charity. Using a portion of profits to donate to charity.

I went back to work and its been demanding juggling work, children and the business. I have loved the business but what was a side hustle has grown to nearly triple in the first year.

Product photosThis will be transferred through Dropbox. We have a collection of product photos that have been captured by photographers, content creators and influencers. I am also happy to share any photos I've captured. We currently use Instagram brand reps and they have been effective in growing our brand awareness and creating content. The team will also be transferred to you.
SuppliersA great relationship with suppliers, particularly My Happy Helpers. I'm happy to provide further details on suppliers, stock and customer feedback. I can make recommendations on quick selling products.
How to grow this business
I would market to teachers, daycares and schools in addition to mums. Schools and Early Childhood settings place larger orders and require more resources and new items more frequently due to the use by multiple children.
I would manufacture my own products and wholesale them to develop a stronger brand and reach a wider range of customers. I would also continue to sell a variety of brands. I have ideas that I am willing to pass on. I am happy to use my experience as an Early Childhood Teacher to recommend products that provide educational value and share insight based on my teaching experience.
If I wasn't working I would reduce the workload of the book keeper I hire and complete more work myself. We currently pay $330 AUD a month (aprox $236 USD) in book keeping fees.
I would utilize the Klavyio app more by investing more time in setting up and sending out email newsletters and exclusive offers as this can be a great marketing tool.
The statistics from referral by source indicates that the brand team (brand reps on Instagram) have been successful in referring customers using their linktr.ee link. I have included a screen shot to confirm. I would continue to work with reps and the most effective ones have been accounts with smaller, genuine followers. Please see the attached screen shot that shows the referrals from reps via their linktr.ee.
I would set up a giveaway through Facebook only to increase the amount of Facebook followers and create new customers.

I would recommend that you are familiar with wooden toys or be willing to learn about wooden toy brands and trends. It would be helpful if you are familiar with Shopify and Instagram. If you aren't familiar with Shopify I can provide support, training and recommend tutorials that I found helpful.
