Why this business was started

Started in 2016 from a college dorm room to help put the founder through school. The business is profitable and ripe with opportunity. Net income in 2020 was approximately 28k. Projected net income for 2021 is $24-$26k.

As the business quickly proved its viability, we hired an engineer and consultant to design what is today's top spy product. Our product is unique because of its extended battery life and beautiful high resolution video and audio recording capability. The business quickly took off and gained attention from Fox News, Spectrum News, iHeartRadio. The line is coveted by Private Investigators, Process Servers, Students, and working professionals alike. We also serve a variety of domestic abuse and other personal situations.

This niche was selected based on market research, which made it clear that the market urgently needed for a more reliable personal security device.

The reason of selling this business

Since 2016, I have launched and built several other e-Commerce businesses in the home/kitchen industry which are around 10x as large, growing quickly and demanding of full attention. This business is focused in a niche, and based on our research has a market cap of around $1M annual revenue with our existing line of SKUs. I have recognized that while this business is like a child to me, it will be served better in the hands of an up and coming e-Commerce entrepreneur who can benefit from the groundwork that has been laid.

I'd like to see the business in the hands of an owner who is going to build a line around the brand to maximize its potential.
