I decided to start this business, because I saw a huge opportunity in the market and decided to capitalize on it. Plus, I am a car person so it made sense to do so.

I have decided to sell this business because I am pursuing something else and don't really have time to focus on this business at the moment.
What's involved in running this business
You have to generate traffic to this store via paid advertising or organically. I personally ran traffic through paid ads. I ran facebook and google ads. I converted traffic into sales by focusing on just one product and selling the emotion attached to the product. That is ultimately how you get people to buy anything. To succeed I you have to really take care of your customer. Take care of customer support and offer real value. When it came time to fulfill orders I had a great supplier that was always on top of everything with really good shipping times. To get repeat customers I was planning on launching new products or collections every month or two months. Just to see what people liked best. It all really comes down to being consistent and offering a quality product and experience.

The way I would grow this store over the next five years is by really treating this like a brand and building a community around it. People in the automotive industry are really passionate about modifying their rides so this is a great business to run with a lot of opportunity. I would also focus on scaling with paid ads through multiple platforms. And lastly providing real value and quality in every product.
Skills to have
I would highly suggest being proficient at media buying. I personally run paid traffic through Facebook ads and Google ads which is what allowed me to reach the revenue I did. Also, I would suggest learning copywriting to be able to write good ad copy and good copy for your landing page. It really comes down to being a well versed all around marketer.
