Business Story

Why this business was started

I was always interested in e-commerce, I started off with Amazon, andwhen I found out about the dropshipping business model, I was more interested as there is no heavy down payment for products with no guarantee of selling. I failed many times over. 3 years later, i'm finally successful with it. I love hearing the cha-ching sound on my phone whenever I get an order. I also love the niche, and love e-commerce.

The reason of selling this business

Taking too much time, I also have 2 other stores i'm running and am selling one other one as well. As you can see I started earlier in the year and had to stop.. I tried to sell it at the time but couldn't keep up with the inbox. I also stopped working on it and I think people were scared that the traffic and everything stopped, so I relaunched it to prove that it's still good. i'm working on a retail business right now and with corporate, this takes up the rest of my free time at night, and sometimes on weekends. Ads need to be tested and created, influencers need to be contacted to increase sales. Next time I decide to dropship heavily again I will probably start a new niche. For now, I must focus on launching my retail business.

If you're interested I have a P&L for my recent re-launch. November to date P&L.

Do not bother asking me for the product, in this business model the product is 80% of the game.

What's involved in running this business

Submitting orders, responding to customer emails, advertising. I now have a personal agent who takes care of all my orders. Customer e-mails can be outsourced, advertising I would stick to doing yourself.

Other details about profit: Profit margins on the main seller is 150-200%, other items cost $5 and sell for 50+, and 20 and sell for 40. Overall profits could be much higher if you stay on top of ads, cancelling before they get out of hand on bad ad sets, using influencers more, etc. It's been a month since I relaunched and a half and the store has generated me about 3k in profits.
