Why this business was started

For more than 8 years I had been obsessed with the idea of online jobs. It began with me joining Amazon's Affiliate program and creating a blogspot website inorder to promote select Amazon products to earn a commission. Over the following years, I read and researched all about digital marketing and started to explore more ways to monetize from the online world. Exactly 3 years back, I had stumbled upon the dropshipping concept and as I read more and more from people of all experience levels, I became assured that they all unanimously agreed that anyone can do it with the right mindset and determination, even without a huge financial investment nor holding any inventory. Last year when I finally got approved for a bank account, I didn't lose any time to join the shopify family and set out to open a shopify account right away. Since being a nontechy, I followed all the instructions very carefully and applied it slowly and steadily, completing the store in a period of 9 months! All this time, the store was and is currently on pause status, which explains why the analytics shows an almost 0 traffic and revenue.

The reason of selling this business

Because I no longer have the enthusiasm or the required willpower to strive for it anymore as much as I used to have when I was registering for this store last year, which is my first ever one and during all those years I was researching all about online businesses about 2 yrs prior. The main reason for selling is the lack of a team to work with and shortage of time after my main work, among other personal factors. So, after investing a lot of money and time into building this store and customising it with so much love and care, I am bidding farewell to it even before I could make it live or promote through ads.

The domain name is in itself a super SEO rich keyword using a single dictionary word 'Accessory' with a 'Z' at the end meant to say that one can find all kinds of accessories from A to Z, just as the online giant Amazon has it with their name and logo. Besides the great name and the logo that I had myself created smartly expressing the theme of the store, I have installed 50 unique and must-have accessories in 4 different key categories that is Auto, Device, Health & Beauty and Home & Lifestyle. The whole store has been painstakingly setup all by myself with careful markup of product pricings, shipping rates and selection of best selling products from reliable and trustworthy sellers, only those that are highly rated from 4+ to 5 by AliExpress with their Trade Assurance and Verified status seals and above all having more positive customer reviews. So I have basically done all of the homework of configuring and setting up. But the buyer may have to tweak some settings according to their own preferences. The desktop and mobile functionality of the store in terms of UX and UI are just perfect, I was told after consulting for feedback with a couple of Shopify's own developers. All that the new owner has to do after checking out the products is to promote the store through social media ads, preferably on facebook first. The response might be overwhelming, so be prepared with a team or atleast 1 partner to handle the incoming customer engagements landing on the store in the initial weeks for providing prompt support and order fulfillment. When the influx of orders gets beyond your team's capability to control, then know that it's time to hire a third party fulfillment company like Shop&Ship, Fulfillman etc to manage all of the stages of orders, from sourcing, storing, quality check, maintaining logs, syncing with your online store for the order fulfillment up until shipping the orders to the customer, any possible return and refund etc. Or you may as well just purchase a subscription from any of the established and reputed Automation software sites to get all of these done smoothly. The possibilities are simply infinite!

Skills to have

There's no need for any web developing or coding skills to successfully run the store. The main requirement is to have an undeterred and a strong sense of willpower, determination and resolution towards high goals. Money will soon start pouring in as and when the buyer begins the marketing part. That's the level of confidence I have for this store due to the hardwork and sincerity I had invested on it all throughout up until setting the markup prices on the products and my margin by keeping customer convenience and budget in mind. There is high potential and exponential growth in this dropshipping business if done the right way and with consistency. Remember that a good responsive customer support is crucial to the reputation and growth of this type of business.
