Why this business was started

Created in August / 2017 as a Dropshipping site aimed at aesthetics, health and personal care products, but soon we added products from other followings like Kitchen, Toys, Lamps and several others that had good conversion rate. We focused initially on Facebook Ads, which brought us a lot of qualified leads and from October / 2017, we created campaigns in Google Ads with a focus on remarketing and recovery of chekout that proved to be absolutely efficient. As a small, family-run business, we needed a few hours a day to respond to customers, shop and track, but we were amazed at the volume of sales the store had and we had to cut the advertising budget for lack of capital to meet the demand. In Brazil, the most used payment system provides the values only after 15 days.

The reason of selling this business

The volumes from October / 2017 to December / 2018 were surprising but in January / 18, my wife and I had a job offer that provided us with superior performance and professional achievement and did not find people capable of managing the business, identifying and testing new products and customers with the same level of excellence. We try to reconcile the activities but the store deserves more attention and dedication to resume the sales volumes that it is able (and has already proven) to achieve and we do not have the time and capital to dedicate to the project. Working as an international store and using Paypal that allows instant return on capital, the store can easily double its highest volume ever reached.

What's involved in running this business

We use the interfaces and Shopify / Oberlo plugin to register and manage products, purchases, stock control, price updates and order tracking very easily. We only use a custom paid page-creation application (Shogum) that offers many simple click and drag features. Shopify offers the free service that facilitates the completion of the delivery address, and validates the customer's data. Other free applications for creating scarcity, last sales, counters, e-mail caption, etc.
