General description

I decided to open this store because I was simply interested in learning about e-commerce and I think maps look cool! Initially, my plan was to operate the store using a dropshipping model and then transition into creating/showcasing unique maps from independent creators. I've had some interest in this idea and I will pass along their contact info if you'd like.

I am selling the site because I recently graduated college and I'm starting a new job soon so I don't have the the time to put into the store that it deserves.

Why should someone buy this store?

I think the site has potential, especially if more unique maps are added and the Instagram account is used effectively.

On instagram there is a thrivin community of map accounts with some of the bigger ones reaching 400K followers. I think the @aestheticmap account can gain more followers and drive more customers to the site.

People still seem to be interested in products even when the store has been inactive because I've gained about 10 email addresses from customers in the meantime.

I will also be available for any questions/advice for a month after purchase.

How can the future owner improve the business?

The major areas of improvement that I see are: • Effectively using Instagram to drive traffic • Use Instagram influencers • Creating a network of map creators

After the sale, I am willing to give advice as to how I grew the account from 0 followers to 1,000 in about 2.5 months.

What work have you put into the store?

The work I've put into includes the product collection of map or geography related items ranging from watches to jewelry and maps that you can hang on your wall. As far as marketing, I've created a map Instagram account that I successfully grew to over 1,000 followers (numbers have since dipped a little) to drive traffic to the site and about $25 worth of Google AdWords. I've had a unique logo created that I use on the website and on my social media page.
