Why this business was started

My partner and I decided to start the business because we are both knowledgeable and successful with social media marketing; specifically Instagram. We focused on patriotic (American) types and had great success. In fact, we consistently received notifications that we were in the top 3% of stores that opened the same time as us. We see the need for patriotic brands and focused on that as a selling point, as seen on the homepage of our website. We also included a "country/rural" vibe to the brand which also worked out well. This store is perfect for someone who continues to focus on those aspects that I listed, that made us successful to begin with.

The reason of selling this business

As stated above, we are both knowledgeable with social media marketing. The reason for that is our involvement with the influencer aspect of social media. We are both influencers, and grew the brand's Instagram page to over 7,000 followers with minimal effort. Furthermore, we are both too busy with our other businesses to continue focusing on this store. Unfortunately, there are so many hours of the day and we are too tied up with other means of our lives. If this wasn't the case and we had more time to dedicate to this store, we wouldn't be selling it.

What's involved in running this business

1) Printful, and Greater Half were the fulfillment companies. We ended the relationship with Greater Half for the same reason we are closing the store... no time to focus on it. They are a great company, and if the buyer of this store wanted to continue to use them, I'd highly recommend it. 2) Obviously customer service 3) Facebook and Instagram ads are key for any shopify store. Same applies here.
