An Uplifted Day is a Singapore-based, high potential green beauty + holistic wellness eCommerce retailer. We stock highly-prized brands, mainly from North America and as a result bring in high converting free traffic through organic google search and just from being on the retail partner list of our brands. We've been open since Feb 2016 and have a loyal customer base. It's a great business to get into and grow because:

  • Our customers are well-educated with high spending ability
  • Pent up local demand for good quality, popular green beauty brands
  • We sell consumables so repeat customer rate is high (28% repeat customer rate).
  • High growth potential market: We grew 252% YOY in 2017 over 2016. Growth in 2018 over 2017 was 2% because I did not bring in new brands and did zero marketing due to having to focus on my relocation overseas - but I'm happy with my results with relatively minimal work put into the store in 2018 .   • Easy to run: simply curate and order inventory to be shipped to our warehouse + fulfilment center in Singapore who will handle customer orders. Alternatively, you can make your own fulfilment arrangements.

I am selling this business to focus on my other business. It is possible to run this remotely / outside of Singapore. I myself have moved to the USA for family reasons and have been running it remotely for the last 10 months with the help of a local warehousing and fulfilment center in Singapore.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Easy - source for and bring in more brands that people want to buy to add to product portfolio. I'm happy to provide a list of researched and tried and tested revenue driving brands to the new owner.

Focus on selling to other Asian markets - about 5 to 10% of our customers are outside of Singapore with no marketing push on our side so the growth potential is significant here.

Re-stock sold out items - I have an email waiting list which can be transferred so you'll see which are the popular items to re-stock.

Pick up marketing through email (very effective with our list), Instagram, Facebook. I've stopped this for the past 6 months due to other committments.

    I would bring in more halo brands to add to the product portfolio. At this stage, topline revenue growth is directly correlated with the number of brands and SKUs we carry. This is how we grew 252% in 2017 over 2016. If you have great brands that people want to buy in a highly engaged market like we are in, they will find you. I'm happy to provide a list of researched and tried and tested revenue driving brands to the new owner.

    Continue with marketing through Facebook, Instagram, Email. I've stopped this for the past 6 months to focus on my other business.

    Focus on overseas marketing to neighboring Asian countries - especially Malaysia. 5 to 10% of our customers are overseas with no marketing push on our end.
