We are Engineering majors who took an interest in business and ecommerce which led us to buying this business in September 2018. We were interested in running our own business and earn some extra income on the side. We used our combined knowledge of digital marketing, social media management and design to build a brand that customers love. We even built a network of influencers and brand ambassadors including famous YouTubers and models that always post our socks in their videos, feeds, and stories.

The reason of selling this business

We are both going into our senior year and want to dedicate our time and effort on our studies, final year project and preparing for full-time job interviews.

Running this business involves: - Fulfilling orders on Oberlo: these can be done very quickly with just a click of a button - Answering customer emails: we have invested in a chat bot that can answer FAQs and even give customers their order status which has significantly reduced the number of emails that we receive - Social media: We have grown our Instagram followers to over 7.5k and we have realized that most of our organic traffic comes from our Instagram followers so it's important to keep the page active (at least one post a week). Many of our influencers, brand ambassadors and customers send us images so you would just need to repost them!

About our supplier: We have built a great relationship with our supplier who makes running this business very easy: - We get a 25% discount on all of our dropshipping items meaning higher profit margins - Our orders are shipped the same day meaning faster delivery times - Always answers our messages the same day in case we have any issues with orders

    To grow the business even further, we suggest investing time and effort in:

    • Instagram influencers: we have had Youtubers and models post our socks in their videos, feeds, and stories which has increased our brand awareness, traffic and sales

    • SEO: Traffic can be increased further if the store's SEO is optimized to get to the top of the Google search results page. We are currently on the first page with no SEO done.

    • Facebook ads: Most of our sales come from Facebook ads especially in the holidays. Our sales are very high during the Christmas season
