Why this business was started

I decided to purchase this business a few months back primarily because it was a great deal.

I had been reading about strategies in e-commerce and what was possible in terms of earning an ancillary income, and this property checked all the boxes. It is a fun topic, no reliance on buying Chinese goods, and a good niche with regular customers, and it was a great deal considering the social followers, email newsletter users and the free items that are already stocked!

The reason of selling this business

I am now selling the business because I realize I have no time whatsoever to run this business. I am doing a Master’s program and had my first kid.

What's involved in running this business

I think to do this well you'll need some work up-front to get it going. I underestimated this time when I first purchased the property. This was especially true in my case as I aimed to change the URL to MommyAsHeck, and drastically change the user interface which I think can be improved. You’ll have to create a good newsletter and create good social content.
