Why this business was started

It was a passion project that I wanted to challenge myself with launching. I wanted to go through the process of creating a name and developing a brand, creating the artwork, business cards, and create products, social media accounts, etc. The business took on a life of its own when feedback from clients relayed that their purchases got them through treatments or difficult times in their life.

General description

Artified is a cool new art, apparel, and accessory company that connects people worldwide. Primarily, the company operates with two distinct revenue streams and operations. The first side of the business takes unique paintings and drawings created by children and youths from around the world and digitally puts the images on accessories and apparel items. These items are sold online at [REDACTED] and many of the items sold reserve 6% of net profit towards local non-profits, encouraging art and creativity in children. The second side of the business primarily targets parents. Consumers take their child’s art and designs, submits them to the artified website, and the design is sent off and made into their selected item.The current items available are pillows, tote bags, art cases and scarves. Select specialty products will be offered seasonally, as the market trends, and as Artified gains additional revenues to equipment to create these products and will consist of: hats, neck ties, bow ties, pocket squares, socks, towels, puzzles and rugs.

Why should someone buy this store?

Artified conducted a survey to see how the Target market would respond to the business and its products. The survey results were favourable. 96.2% of those surveyed stated that they would be slightly likely to extremely likely to purchase a product from Artified after learning about the company. The results listed that 71.2% would be more inclined to purchase accessories for themselves or for a gift if their own child’s artwork could be graphically printed on these items and 61.5% stated that they would be interested in purchasing items with unique children’s artwork on them. Nice niche store ready for someone to bring it to profitability.
