Why this business was started

I saw a need in the market for the types of products I am selling and also wanted to create an extra revenue source for myself. I had seen many back health products being successfully advertised on facebook especially when COVID began. I tried a few different products and finally settled on this one as it did the best sales and profit wise.

The reason of selling this business

I had a business opportunity that presented itself to me at the end of January and it is more appealing to me and that I am more passionate about. I no longer have time for this business unfortunately despite its great performance in only 2-3 months.

What's involved in running this business

Generating traffic via advertising on facebook/google ads. Maintaining customer relations through quick and helpful responses to their inquiries to our support email. Order fulfillment and shipping is done by my supplier which I can give the contact of. Retain and retarget customers to make them repeat customers through email and text retargeting advertising. Keeping an eye out or listening to what the customers may want in a new product and attempting to supply them with such a product.

    Branded products and investments into better advertising content and more outreach. From the prior research I have done, branded products have a higher conversion rate which leads to more sales and lower advertising costs. Better content will also achieve lower advertising prices by lowering the cost of customer engagement on both the facebook and google ad platforms.

    Plenty of skills are required to be successful in this business. I would say that firstly it would be the ability to research and adapt to new changes that are done in the e-commerce space. First to adapt usually do the best. Other skills such as prior experience with advertising on facebook and google can be helpful. A proper approach to customer service is invaluable.
